How to Donate & Make a Difference

What is Friends of CASA?

Friends of CASA is led by a Board of Directors and is funded through private donations.

Friends of CASA of Venango County’s mission is to raise the level of awareness and provide funding and support for neglected and abused children under the jurisdiction of the Venango County CYFS Court. We strive to ensure the necessary resources for the CASA of Venango County program to effectively advocate for children and to help them have a good quality of life, to have as normal a life as possible and to make happy memories.

Our Goals:

  • Provide a CASA advocate for every child who needs one.

  • Raise awareness of the plight of abused and neglected children in our community.

  • Recruit new advocates and retain current ones.

  • Meet children’s needs and provide extracurricular opportunities that foster parents cannot.

  • Provide ongoing training opportunities for CASA advocates.

  • Recognize and honor CASA advocates for their commitment to children.

  • Fund activities for advocates and children to spend time together.

Friends of CASA relies a great deal on the financial support of individuals like you. Your donations support the work of the CASA volunteers and the CASA program as it brings hope and happiness to the abused and neglected children in Venango County. Your gifts allow Friends of CASA to not only help sustain, but help advance the CASA program. Please consider making a donation that will make a direct impact in your local community.
